Self love. The most important part of every muslims girls’ life. Before you fall in love, before you want to lead and conquer you should fall in love with your religion and you. Here’s something that i’ve discovered on my self love journey! I hope this helps.
1. Take a break. Seriously. You work really hard - Let your phone die and take that break. 2. People will talk about you. Your own family too. Call you names, define you in certain ways for bad experiences. YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR BAD DAYS. You are no person’s definition. You are that person, who Allah talks about in the Quran. Whom he promised Jannah. You are better than all that they call you. 3. Tumblr can be a great source of Inspiration and a way to gain hasanah. Unfollow those depressing blogs and follow people who post great content which will lift you up or make you feel happy. 4.Mend things with yourself first. If you have been eating unhealthy foods, stop it. Take care of your body! Workout to look and feel good for yourself or because you just love running or doing cardio. Allah entrusted this body with 5.You are not obliged to share any information if you don’t wish to. Period. 6. Stay lowkey sometimes. That evil eye is real. (Read surah nas constantly!) 7. You pray for everyone and the “future”. Pray for yourself too. Pray for your well being too. Pray for your present too. 8.. When you read Quran, don’t focus on the number of chapters/verses u want to complete. Even if you read 2 verses, read them well to understand what your lord is telling you. 9. When de-motivated, read the list of your goals. Don’t like them? change it! 10. Spend time listening to the Quran. Listen to surah yusuf, surah an'am, surah taha, surah duha and many others but I listened to these first. 11.Don’t let society define things for you. For example - you “have” to have a fine job as soon as you graduate. or You “have” to look a certain way. Modesty is the key. Stay modest, have good intentions. Listen to them but do your thing. If you dont wanna do something. Just dont. 12. Obey Allah. No matter how hard the decisions are. this is self love. Period. 13. Don’t talk to people who bring you down by reminding your mistakes when they know you are changing and want to change. Such people will only scoff and dont wish good for your dunya or aakhira. Just dont talk to people who bring you down. 14. Remind yourself that you have Allah. At all times. Always. In the deepest darkest times. He’s there. He is with you always. Helping you through dunya wanting you to strive for jannah. Dont give up. Hope this helped :)
