missguided-s0ul:

Lets talk heartbreak.

Even though it is possibly the most heart wrenching thing a person could experience, by Allah there comes a lot of beauty with it.

You sort of carry it with you everywhere, the pain and misery that is, but you’ll soon realise how Allah transforms it into happiness and you carry it so beautifully, essentially what I am trying to say is, that without the pain we wouldn’t have ever known what it means to need Allah and without Him we wouldn’t find the contentment that we so eagerly seek in everything around us. The remembrance of Allah becomes sort of like a soothing balm for the heart and in some way, you begin to learn the art of tawakul and understand that there is goodness in everything. And despite it all, you find peace in your prayers, comfort in your duas and you begin to look at the universe and smile because things have worked out, just not in the way you wanted it to and that is okay. But most importantly my dear, you realise that it’s loving their memory and loving what they loved that still exist in the world and that’s a way of still loving them, even though they have moved on and are not here with you anymore.
