There’s something about people telling you “you’re in my duaas” that gets me feeling all kinds of emotional. It’s a sense of love and community and trust, because you don’t pray for someone you don’t care about. Because when you’re making duaa you’re in your most vulnerable state, before Allah, and the fact that you think of me and my struggles is beyond considerate, it’s taking the concept of loving for the sake of Allah to heart.
